Commissioning Editor: Greg Sanderson
Executive Producer: Tanya Hudson

In a pioneering new collaboration between BBC Studios and Rolex, ‘Arts in Motion’ celebrates excellence in arts and culture around the world, and features renowned artists sharing their insight with a new generation of talent.

Across 6x30 episodes broadcast worldwide on BBC News, artists including sculptor Antony Gormley, The Vienna Philharmonic, actor Brian Cox and cellist Steven Isserlis were paired with groups of the most promising young talent to share their expertise via a bespoke masterclass. Shot internationally, these masterclasses were captured as immersive documentaries, providing privileged insight into each artist’s craft.

Alongside this on BBC.com, BBC News, and social media, ‘Arts in Motion’ features digital content with the world’s most exciting and established talent – including British-Turkish novelist Elif Shafak, Chinese film director Jia Zhang-Ke, singers from the Royal Ballet and Opera, musicians from the Salzburg Festival, artists Es Devlin and Alvaro Barrington, and many more.
